Animal Breath Health Day Guards Every Life with Technology

Every steady breath is the truest rhythm of life. On the 15th July is “Animal Respiratory Health Day”, which carries deep concern for animal respiratory health. On the road to protecting animal health, BMV is a leader in the fields of respiratory care, anaesthesia, and monitoring, safeguarding the entire life cycle through technological innovation, creating a healthy future shared by people, homes, and pets.

Respiratory health is crucial to animals, especially in pet diagnosis and treatment. Anaesthesia safety and respiratory monitoring are directly related to the success or failure of the operation and the life safety of the animal. Taking a complex surgical operation on a pet as an example, a stable anaesthesia state and precise respiratory support are the basis for a successful operation.

Anesthesia machines and monitors are a solid line of defence to protect the respiratory health of animals. BAM series anesthesia workstation of BMV is equipped with colour touch screen with an intuitive operating interface that veterinarians can easily use. It supports three gas sources and interfaces for oxygen, nitrous oxide, and air, and can supply pure oxygen to meet the needs of different surgeries. The tidal volume range is 10-1500ml, and it can be accurately adapted to both small pets and large animals. It has a complete range of breathing modes, combined with an advanced safety alarm system, which monitors key indicators such as airway pressure and oxygen concentration in real time. Once an abnormality occurs, an alarm will be issued immediately to build a safety barrier for animals during surgery.

In terms of monitors, BMV’s products also perform well. Take the BMO220 as an example. It has a 12.1-inch colour touch screen with a clear display. It can accurately monitor parameters such as ECG, SpO2, NIBP, RR, body temperature, HR, etc. The lead type is available in three-lead/five-lead, and the scanning speed and gain options are diverse to meet different monitoring needs. The body temperature measurement range is 0℃-50℃, with a resolution of 0.1℃; the SpO2 is accurate, with a resolution of 1%; the NIBP working mode is flexible, including manual, automatic, continuous, and custom. The BIS, Masimo mainstream/sidestream EtCO2 module, etc., can also be selected according to actual needs to provide veterinarians with comprehensive and accurate vital signs data to assist in diagnosis and treatment decisions.

BMV attaches great importance to research and development. With a professional R&D team and cutting-edge technology, we continue to innovate and upgrade our products. Our products cover the areas of medical, homecare and pets. We take safety and reliability as our values. Not only have we passed various strict quality certifications at home and abroad, but we are also sold well in more than 100 countries and regions around the world and have been widely recognised.

At a time when animal respiratory health is receiving much attention, BMV has always adhered to our mission, using anaesthesia machines and monitors as powerful weapons to contribute to the respiratory health of animals. In the future, Northern Meditec will continue to explore innovations, use technology to protect every life, and allow animals to breathe freely and smoothly.
