How to distinguish between 2D and 3D and 4D ultrasound

3D ultrasound is an advanced method which captures a true, three-dimensional image of your baby, often allowing the ability to see specific facial features and well-defined formation.

4D ultrasound is an actual moving three-dimensional image of your baby in utero. Actions such as yawning, turning and even subtle movements can be seen. There have even been cases where expectant parents watched as their child sucked their thumb and peacefully slept!

In principle, the ultrasound is not harmful

Fetal ultrasound screening is an indirect method, not directly screening the fetus, but through the mother to do indirect examination. As the commonly the ultrasound  issued by used B-ultrasound equipment are low-intensity, the fetus is no harm. At present the international community has never had B-ultrasound reports of fetal malformations. In fact, the energy of the ultrasound is rather weak, and if it is really necessary to make the tissue fever, or because of vibration and body temperature rise, the performer must stay in the pregnant woman at least a point for at least 30 minutes. At present, doctors in the ultrasonic examination, the same location stay should not be more than 5 seconds.
