Pad Touch (PT) series and MX5 series

Hits 1500 Milestone with More on the Way!

The global shipments of PT&MX series exceeded 1500 units and adoption of the device continues to grow. (2018-6-30)

Since it was commercially introduced in 2017, PT&MX series has become increasingly popular among healthcare professionals throughout the world.

The smart ultrasound device has been widely distributed across over 20 countries, including those located in developed and emerging markets. Clinical settings for PT&MX series vary from hospitals in large cities to clinics in rural areas. The broad range of users includes specialists, as well as primary care physicians and clinical staff operating under their guidance.

The team at BMV couldn’t be more excited to see the PT&MX community expand as this new category of the device continues to help improve access to health care and quality of care throughout the world!

Built to last years

Its advanced broadband curved array transducer also helps to keep the MX5 working for longer.MX5 comprises a set of handheld IP67 ultrasound transducers that connect via USB to a compatible Android smart device, such as a smartphone or tablet, to help medical professionals make fast, accurate decisions, easy-to-share images and data in a wide range of applications.

Just download the MX5 app, plug in the transducer, and you're set. Meet patients at the point-of-care, make a faster diagnosis, and deliver care whenever it's needed.

More stable than wireless

Why more stable? As you know, A wired connection will always be superior to wireless. It comes down to the characteristics of the medium that you transmit through. With wireless, that would be air, using radio waves and wired uses copper or optical fibre. Air is an insulator, copper is a conductor. Wireless is susceptible to interference from other radio sources, wires much less so. Wireless protocols have to be constrained to specific frequencies to prevent interference, wired connections have the entire spectrum available.

Focused Applications in POC

The MX5 realizes the benefits of workflow efficiency while providing superior imaging for repid bedside patient assessment. With the intuitive design, ease of operation, incredible image quality, slim go capability, touch-screen gesture, and simplified intuitive workflow, the MX5 provides diagnostic confidence for focused applications of acute care, internal medicine, musculoskeletal, office practice.

Great potential for civil emergency medicine & midwife patient care

MX5 ultrasound provides high-quality imaging and is routinely used in many clinical environments, from hospital bedsides and clinics, even in a civil accident and emergency medicine, MX5 mobile ultrasound can be a useful supplement to other diagnostic tools. In hospitals, medical practices, and home visits, MX5 can equally underpin rapid point-of-care diagnoses, avoiding delays or the need for patients to travel.
